The team has all capabilities required by the UN's INSARAG organisation from units participating in international rescue mission, the document said. It added that the team will carry all necessary equipment to help rescue operations, as well as food, medicine and drinking water for 5 days, so as not to require any assistance from the overworked local authorities.

The team is scheduled to leave during the night and is expected to spend 4-6 days working in the designated disaster zone.
