At the government spokesman's briefing, Draskovics also denied that he would take up a job with Pricewaterhouse Coopers Hungary.

The minister said he would "continue his work".

Friday's issue of national daily Magyar Hirlap said Draskovics would become a partner of the tax consulting and auditing firm Pricewaterhouse Coopers Hungary from September 1. Among his potential successors at the ministry, deputy ministers Dezso Avarkeszi and Gabor Juhasz were named.
