Audi Hungarian engine production plunges in H1 because of crisis
German car maker Audi made 661,847 engines at its production base in the Hungarian city of Gyor in the first half of the year, down sharply from 1,023,000 in the same period a year earlier because of the crisis, Audi Hungaria Motor said on Friday.

Volkswagen, Audi's parent company, ordered far fewer engines from Audi Hungaria in the first half of the year because of the crisis, spokesman Peter Lore said.
